Schools in Delhi to Reopen for All Classes
All schools in Delhi were closed in March 2020 because of the coronavirus (Covid-19) lockdowns.
As the Delhi Government claims that the Covid-19 pandemic is receding, it has decided to reopen the schools for all classes from Monday, November 1. However, no more than 50 percent of students will be allowed to sit in a classroom. Therefore, the online classes will continue simultaneously.
“All the schools and educational institutes shall be allowed to be opened, for all the classes, in Delhi from 1st Nov. However, schools shall also continue online classes for the students who are not willing to attend classes offline,” tweeted Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia.
