Hatch Announces New Kindergarten Readiness Software
Leading early childhood education technology provider Hatch today released version 3 of its TeachSmart preschool software.
Announced at the National Head Start Association (NHSA) Conference in Long Beach, CA, Hatch’s TeachSmart turns Microsoft Windows-based interactive whiteboards and multi-touch displays into educational tools.
TeachSmart builds school readiness skills and seamlessly integrates interactive technology into the early childhood classroom, says the company.
“One in three children enters kindergarten unprepared to read or to learn math,” said Ginny Norton, president of Hatch. “Hatch technology has helped more than 500,000 children prepare for Kindergarten, and their marked improvement in school readiness speaks to the benefits that TeachSmart brings to the classroom.”
Educators will have an opportunity to interact with TeachSmart and other Hatch technology for early childhood education during a hands-on learning experience with classroom technology for early childhood educators.
Four “Hands-on with Head Start Technology Learning Zone” sessions will take place at the National Head Start Association (NHSA) Conference in Long Beach, CA on April 30 – May 1, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. PST.
