Hasbro Playskool in New Sesame Street Collection
Hasbro Playskool brand, in partnership with Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit educational organization behind Sesame Street, introduces new playthings in 2013 starring favorite Sesame Street characters including Elmo, Cookie Monster, and Ernie.
This year’s lineup includes Big Hugs Elmo plush that hugs preschoolers back, the new Sesame Street P.A.L. app learning system that encourages tots to learn and explore in a digital environment, and the interactive world of Roads & Rails that combines two playtime activities for preschoolers – cars and trains.
Meanwhile, an estimated 33,000 toy industry insiders from 100 countries gathered in anticipation at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center Sunday, where the 110th annual American International Toy Fair (Feb. 10-13) opened its doors for four days of business-building, networking, trend-spotting, and more.
